Kara breaks another one: Sheryl Sandberg to join Facebook as COO

Wow.  I guess Mark found his right-hand man... er, woman.

Kara is breaking the story that Sheryl Sandberg, recently VP Global Sales & Operations at Google, will join Facebook as COO.  Sandberg was also a chief of staff at the Treasury Dept in the Clinton administration, and is Facebook's first major executive female hire.  This continues a string of ex-Googlers making their way over to Facebook, and should provide some serious firepower for Mark's team.
