So after a few months of playing around with Facebook people-tagging in notes, photos, & videos, as well as other nefarious techniques for spamming my social graph, i think i've crossed the line between "experimenting" and simply being "chronically addicted" to Facebook.
Q: anybody know if there's a 12-step program for Facebook yet?
father forgive me, for i have tagged...!

if only to help others avoid my fate, i've compiled below a laundry list of my social networking sins.
You too might be a Facebookaholic, if:
- you've ever updated your profile status more than 5x per day
- extra credit: you include a tinyURL link in the profile status
- you change your profile picture more often than you change your hairstyle
- extra credit: you change it to a logo or graphic that looks cooler than your pic
- you name-drop in a blog post or note JUST so you can people-tag
- extra credit: you people-tag content that doesn't have anything to do with your friends, but you do it anyway JUST so you can get their attention
- you really like to Share stuff into the Feed
- you really like to Share stuff, 'cuz you get to select the thumbnail graphic to display (SO cool!)
- you create FB groups JUST because you think the name will sound cool on your profile
- you like tagging people in notes, photos, & videos MORE than you enjoy creating/watching the content itself
- you edit stuff out of the Mini-Feed because you worry it might not look cool
- you worry about how long to wait before you Poke back
- you worry about poking male friends who are new to Facebook cuz' they might get the wrong idea
- you obsessively scan your friends photo albums to see if you can help tag anyone they overlooked
- you dial up the Feed prioritization on people who are smarter / richer / prettier than you are
- you monitor the Feed like a hawk so you don't miss anything that might scroll below the fold
- you wish you could tag links, so that you could draw certain people's attention to them
ok, maybe that's enough for now.
i'm tired; g'night :)
you're an addict when you've emailed fb support because ur facebook firefox toilbar isn't working
