hi robert -
i believe they plan to move to a more public beta in a month or two... shouldn't be much longer. they're just trying to make sure they're ready to scale when they do launch.
(hasn't really been much promotion other than at Web 2.0 Expo and a few blogger interviews... altho there was a fair amount of interest & coverage as a result).

Neither Wink nor ZoomInfo have impressed me. Spock sounds more promising for true people search... It's just too bad that they're being flaunted so heavily, yet still "invitation only" - That kind of (really) turns me off.
Any invitation? :)
