Hey... Comment O' The Day!

hey, that's sweet... one of my smart-ass remarks made Comment of the Day on Fred Wilson's blog (thx for link love fred :)

certainly appears i'm a lot more popular on other people's blogs than on my own.  guess i should do more real blogging instead of posting Flickr photos from family trips & geek events.  but i always have more stuff to say riffing on other blogs than about my own original thoughts & big ideas (aka hot air).   maybe i should find a partner to blog with... hmm. tandem blogging,  interesting.

side note: altho i usually read fred's blog often, i actually came across his post because i was playing around with MyBlogLog at my friend scott rafer's suggestion.  seems like a pretty useful service.  i must admit i need to spend more time checking out blog / website analytics tools.  haven't really dug in hard on stuff like FeedBurner, Google Analytics, etc.  guess that's a good topic for our upcoming Search SIG... speaking of which, i better get that lined up soon, yikes!  btw, here's a nice summary of analytics tools i came across from Brad Feld (altho i disagree about Feedster, i still use it and Technorati for a lot of my blog & RSS searches quite regularly).
