Not so well documented, but you can now add simple XML feeds to Typepad blogs.
And using our job search query features, this means you can add Simply Hired job feeds to your blog (which might be relevant if you're an industry-specific recruiter like Jason Davis).
if you want to give this a try you can jump over to Simply Hired and create a job search query, then grab one of our RSS feed links (under the 'send me fresh jobs' area) and paste it into your TypePad blog.
(note: this is where it gets a bit tricky -- the feature is kind of buried under "Weblogs" | "Edit Design" | "Change Content Selections", then you have to scroll down to the right hand side just past "Your TypeLists" and under "Feeds" select Add a new feed. yow, that's hard to get to... Ben: can you ask Michael to get someone to make that a little easier?)
anyway, if you'd like to manually create a Simply Hired job feed, our syntax looks like this:
* http://www.simplyhired.com/rss2.php?q=Keywords&l=Location
where the parameters noted above stand for:
* q = jobtitle, occupation, or company keywords
* l = a location based on city, state, or both
note: we also allow specification of an exact company name, a
mileage radius, and other list-based filters such as the Fortune 500
companies or Forbes Fastest Growing companies. for more info on these
options, see our Simply Hired advanced job search.
i've created a few examples of TypePad feeds for jobs at Google & Yahoo using Simply Hired RSS here on my own blog (look in the right-hand column, below my lame-ass Feedburner stats).
