The CrunchDream 5: Who is Mike Arrington's Charles Barkley?

Mike Arrington just wrote a Blogger Dream Team Manifesto, admonishing other prominent bloggers about raising too much capital, with the clearly stated goal of doing a rollup with some of them and subsequently "crushing" Dan Farber and CNet

He's even gone so far as to post a picture of the original basketball Dream Team from the 1992 Olympics (i'm guessing Mike wants to be like Mike).

It's an impressive gauntlet thrown, but what i want to know is:
Who is Arrington's Blogger equivalent of Charles Barkley?

The original CrunchTron 4 i put together was inspired by the Crunchies sponsors, but there were only 4 of them... who's the 5th Dream Teamer?

* Michael Jordan = Michael Arrrington, TechCrunch
* Magic Johnson = Om Malik, GigaOm
* Karl Malone = Richard MacManus, ReadWriteWeb
* Patrick Ewing = Matt Marshall, VentureBeat
* Charles Barkley = ?????

Henry Blodget?  Mathew Ingram?  Rafat Ali? (not anymore, it seems)

other suggestions in the comments, please?

I already said I want to be Magic. If I can't be Magic then I'm not playing :-)

two quick things based on your team players...

1. in the way the internet works - a player may be a player that might become another player on the team later on to which the initial player they were might become someone else.
2. barkley = me to begin with.

For the record, Barkley was the leading scorer for both the 1992 & 1996 Dream Team (Trivial Pursuit question the other night).

If there is an Arrington Poll vote for Barkley, you've got mine, Dave.

I'd say Mashable, Pete Cashmore.

It doesn't name what the criteria is, but if it is for useful/thought provoking insight, my vote goes to Umair Hague http://www.bubblegeneration.com/

I'd vote for Allen Stern personally ... I really think Center Networks is growing into a great property!

I guess that makes me David Blumenthal (http://www.nba.com/playerfile/david_bluthenthal/index.html?nav=page)...

I think your RSS feed doesn't work...had to find out about this post without it appearing in my netvibes account...
