Anime isn't quite big business yet, but it seems to be getting there fast.
Surprising that with all the commercial success Hayao Miyazaki & Studio Ghibli have had to date, they don't seem to have the scale or size that Pixar or Disney have achieved here. Not sure if that's by choice or by happenstance, but i certainly would rate the average Miyazaki film as high if not higher than those two. Perhaps that will change in the future... if so, i hope the quality still remains as high.

I never got this - anime is so popular and influential here on the states. Still the revenue the anime companies are having is so small comparing to Disney or Pixar, major producers of western animation movies.
